My great weekend

We had such an amazing weekend. My birthday is approaching and what I wanted was to spend the day just Scott and me at Lagoon in Farmington, Utah. We got my mom to babysit and on Monday the 21st we went.

We left Saturday to go up after Scott got off work. Sunday we had a barbecue with some of my family. It was great to see my family since I don't get to see them that much. Trevor was adorable. Everyone just loved him. It's strange how well he eats his veggies around others. My mom fed him a nectarine and oh how he loved that. He just munched down. Every time my mom pulled away, Trevor grabbed her hand to bring the nectarine back to his mouth. Trevor didn't like Mojo too much. But they grew to like each other.

We had so much fun at Lagoon. We got there right when it opened. It wasn't that crowded. I am thinking that was the case because it was overcast and a Monday. We went on a ton of rides and we got soaking wet. As we stood in line for Wicked I was scared to death. Just looking at that vertical ascend and then vertical descend was scaring the living daylights out of me. We boarded our car and we are waiting for the take off. I close my eyes, clench my jar and off we go. I open my eyes right as we are descending. This was one of the most fun rides I had ever been on. Scott liked the Colloses (spelling??) better. We chose not to take anything with us except water and money. It was great not having to worry about phones or cameras getting wet. I loved to hear people complaining that their phone might get wet. Well, morons, don't take your phone! Once we were all rided out, we set out for the movie theater to enjoy "The Dark Knight."

I loved this movie. We got there and it was packed we were looking for a seat in the higher up section. There were four empty seats, a guy asked someone else if they were saved and he said "these two are," and the asking guy moved on. I jumped on the chance asked the same question to the guy and the people on the other side. Two out of those four seats were available. We snatched it right as the first guy was coming back. Do I feel bad about grabbing those seats? No, he should have taken them when he had the chance. This was a well done movie. I would not take a 10 year old to go see though. Very violent but not gory. I liked that. You knew what was going on without actually having to see the all the gore. By the time we got home it was 10:30. We missed out little guy, but he was asleep and chose not to wake him.

When we got home I noticed that Jensen Property Management called. This was a very important missed call because as some of you know, when we moved out we were charged for things that were already broken. I fought this and even brought in our copy of things that were wrong when we moved in (how we kept that for two years is beyond me). Anyway they called and said that we were right and had a bigger refund check in the mail. I don't mind paying for things that we did, but I will not be blamed for something that we didn't do.

On the long haul back to St. George, Trevor only slept about 45 minutes. He was bored to tears (literally). I was driving so Scott climbed in the back and entertained Trevor with his empty Rockstar can. Trevor loved it and was having a blast playing with it from Beaver to St. George (about 100 miles). Needless to say, Trevor went right to sleep the moment we put him in his crib. Check down below for more pictures of our fabulous birthday trip up north.
