A couple of months ago I went to buy some pants that were on sale for 1/2 off (or so I thought). When I got to the register and they didn't ring up right I brought it to their attention. A manager came over and was not only rude to me, but to her employee (long story made short). Ever since then I just haven't wanted to go back in that store.
Well, today, I did. I noticed clearance signs so I wander over there. I found two skirts that I loved. One was originally $30, marked down to $9.99 and the other was $44 marked down to $21.99. The sign said all clearance was 50% off the lowest ticketed price. WHAT! I grabbed them to take them into the dressing room, praying that they would fit me. On my way to the dressing room I spotted the pants mentioned earlier hanging off the clearance rack. These just weren't any pants. I thought about going back and buying them for full price for about a week. I LOVED those $36 pants. I scavenged through the racks to find my size...not there. I walked away disappointed. And then as if a sign from above I saw similar pants. I slowly walked to see if they had my size...IT WAS THERE. I grabbed them and ran for the dressing room. All three clothes fit me so right.
When I left the dressing room I found a price scanner just to make sure that I was going to get the 1/2 off of the clearance price, sure enough I was. I went to check out where everything ran up right. Black skirt $4.99, white skirt $10.99, pants $8.99. What a deal. Oh was I happy for finding those clearance prices. I was so proud of myself. And then the questions came: "Do you want to sign up for Sears card for an extra $15 off?" Do I, Do I??? Heck yeah!
After doing the math original total was $110. With the clearance price it was $26.52. With the extra $15 off my grand total was $11.52!!! Today I saved $98.48. Wooo
