Male Kitty say What???

When we got a cat we wanted a female kitty. We had "Zelda" (yes named after the video game) for about 4 months now. Trevor was calling "her" deda and "she" responded to "her" name. The other day it was brought to our attention that the cat didn't exactly look like a girl. The last time I saw a female cat unspayed was almost 20 years ago. How was I to know that it was abnormal to have a little bump surrounding that "area?" Scott and I tried to reassure ourselves that the people who we got "Zelda" from knew what they were talking about and we have our female cat. Nope. We definitely have a male kitty.

We tried to to rename him, but nothing seemed to fit. I liked "The Cat Formally Known As Zelda." Scott, not so much. We thought about Link, yeah we didn't like that either. Then we put together an acronym for The Cat Formally Known as Zelda, TCFNAZ. If you say it fast enough it sounds like Taz. So, our male kitty's name is Taz. It fits him so well now. Because he really is quite the Taz.
