It's rude, just plain rude
Tonight, Scott being the wonderful husband that he is, let me go see a movie while he watched Trevor. While I enjoyed the movie (Bride Wars), I did not enjoy seeing the constant lights popping up from cell phones every couple of minutes. This wasn't sporadic lights either. It came from the same people time and time again. If you are going to have a text conversation in the middle of a movie, then don't watch the movie. Obviously you are wasting your money by watching a movie because your conversation in the phone is more important than actually watching the movie. Not only is money being wasted, but the disruptive light that keeps popping up is beyond rude to the others in the movie. Ever since when was ONE person's conversation more important than letting everyone else in the theater enjoy their movie as well. I paid good money to see that movie and I wish that more people had good manners about watching a big screen movie. I doubt that will ever change, but just venting makes me feel a little better.
