Look what I did!

My mom came down to visit so we could go to the What Women What Expo. Since Mother's Day was last Sunday and her birthday is Monday, I decided to try my hand at a cake for her. I know that she loves flowers. I was going to go all crazy and make a sheet cake, cut it out, put fondant on it; the whole thing! But then I realized that I am NOT a professional like Duff or Bronwen. I decided to look for some ideas on the internet. I found a bunch of cute ideas, but for my first attempt at a "fancy" cake I came to the decision to take it easy. This is what I made, following an example I found online with a few changes. I'm so proud of 'em!
