We use this almost everywhere we go. One comment that almost everyone has to comment on is something to the effect of: "wow, he really does have a monkey on his back doesn't he." Trevor smiles, waves, and tells that person hi. Yeah it was semi-funny the first 30 times. Now I can't stand it. Yes, I know that he has a monkey on his back, but it's really not as funny as you think; not when I've heard it 100 times!!!
Whew, thanks for the vent!

It's like being back at Disney, isn't it? I swear, if I had a penny for some of the stupid jokes I heard over and over . . . but at least they're not criticizing you for using a leash. And at least you use it responsibly (I'm assuming). I always cringed when I saw parents using the leash as an excuse to ignore their kids - or worse, drag them around faster than the kid is willing/able to go. And there were a couple times at the playground that I saw the Mommy Wars in action - mothers telling other mothers how terrible they were for using leashes. A lot of what I saw only confirmed my opinion that some people really should be sterilized for the good of humanity!
