If I hear someone say it one more time...

You know when you get something and people just can't seem to let it go? Yeah, that's happened to me and I'm going to punch someone in the face if they say it again. We got Trevor this leash that is also a monkey backpack. Trevor loves it and likes to have it on and will stretch out his arms waiting for us to put it on him.

We use this almost everywhere we go. One comment that almost everyone has to comment on is something to the effect of: "wow, he really does have a monkey on his back doesn't he." Trevor smiles, waves, and tells that person hi. Yeah it was semi-funny the first 30 times. Now I can't stand it. Yes, I know that he has a monkey on his back, but it's really not as funny as you think; not when I've heard it 100 times!!!

Whew, thanks for the vent!

It's like being back at Disney, isn't it? I swear, if I had a penny for some of the stupid jokes I heard over and over . . . but at least they're not criticizing you for using a leash. And at least you use it responsibly (I'm assuming). I always cringed when I saw parents using the leash as an excuse to ignore their kids - or worse, drag them around faster than the kid is willing/able to go. And there were a couple times at the playground that I saw the Mommy Wars in action - mothers telling other mothers how terrible they were for using leashes. A lot of what I saw only confirmed my opinion that some people really should be sterilized for the good of humanity!
