Smith's knows how to do it right!

I hate taking Trevor shopping. It's a pain. He won't sit in the area made for kids. He'll scream, straighten his body, and grab for Scott or me. It's awful. I've lost many hairs from head trying. So we've basically given up on putting him in there. Then I discovered the carts with the little seats for kids. That works...but only when the buckles actually exist and aren't torn apart! Which both of the ones at Albertson's are. So into the cart he goes.
Trevor is a big helper and loves to put our items in the cart. We give it to him and he puts it in there. He's fairly good about not putting unnecessary things into there as well. Even if he is a big helper, he rarely sits down and has almost fell out on several occasions. We try to force him to sit down, but it doesn't work that often.
Smith's, on the other hand, has the brilliant solution of having the front end of some of their carts look like cars; complete with seat belts and steering wheels. Plus they have more than 2 which is WONDERFUL! Today I happened to be on that side of town and went there. How easy it was for Trevor to climb in it himself. He even grabbed the belt and tried to put it on. I had to help, but he was excited to be there. He then carefully turned to the other side and placed Elmo in the seat belt. He had a blast beeping the horn and saying "beep, beep!" Smith's has made my shopping experience 10 times better. Thank your Smith's!
