Look what I made!

If you know me at all, I'm not the very creative type, but every now and then I get ambitious...especially when I'm pregnant.  I don't clean: I do crafts.  I always saw these carseat canopies/tents/whatever you want to call them and I thought they were pretty cool. Unfortunately they run between 40-70 bucks, so I decided I would try my hand at these.  I found fairly inexpensive fabric at Wal-mart and decided to make 2, borrowed my friend's sewing machine and set to it.  I did ask my mother-in-law to help, but I was getting too anxious and decided to try my hand at it.  Now, keep in mind that this the first sewing project I've done since I think 9th grade (maybe 8th).  While, I definitely don't think I would get an A on this project, it's not too shabby for a beginner.  My seams are uneven and my corners don't match, but I still think I did a pretty good job:
