What a good life

I was sitting here thinking about how many good things I have in my life.  So, this may be "one of those posts" where I do nothing but say how great my life is.  But I can't go without it saying it.

1. My husband.  I love this man so much.

Last week he kept telling me he was "scheming" on me.  I tried to find out what, but he wouldn't tell me.  Friday night I finally found out: he had planned a day with one of my friends.  He had called her husband and set it up with her.  It was so fun to get out and enjoy a day by myself.  Tara and I had so much fun shopping, eating at Mongolian BBQ, going to see "Remember Me" and going to a Scentsy open house.  It was a fun day and great to come home to see my boys waiting for me.  Tara on Sunday actually gave the lesson in Relief Society in which this quote was shared: "Pray for the love which allows you to see the good in your companion. Pray for the love that makes weaknesses and mistakes seem small. Pray for the love to make your companion’s joy your own. Pray for the love to want to lessen the load and soften the sorrows of your companion." --President Henry B. Eyring, 1st Counselor in the 1st Presidency, LDS church.  I love this.  What better thing to do with the one you love than to pray for the good things in your marriage!

2. My boys.

My older boy makes me so happy when I see him growing and enjoying life.  He's almost using the potty every time and says the funniest things.  His speech is just growing everyday and I'm amazed at how clearly I can understand what he's saying.  He's so smart and loves electronics.  Just like Dad!

I haven't technically seen my 2nd boy, but I sure feel him!  With only 7 weeks until my due date I'm starting to realize our family of 3 will soon be 4.  I love watching Tyler move (not all of his movements feel good though.  I love knowing that these little movements are the really the only way right now that I am sure that Tyler is okay.  I can't wait until I will be able to see my 2nd little guy and be able to hold him in my arms and share this new life with my family and friends that I love.

3. My amazingly good luck and fortune.  As many of you know, Our family completed the Give a Day Get a Disney Day promotion.  Because of this, we will be taking a trip with our friends, the Lefevres, to Disneyland in August.  We are so grateful we were able to complete this awesome opportunity.  The vouchers went fast and I'm so glad that we were able to finish ours early.  About 6 months ago I won a Yudu machine from Roberts Crafts.  I sold it.  I didn't have much use for it, but the money was a good start in saving up to get my piano to me.  I won the door prize at that Scentsy party I went to with Tara on Saturday.  Yummmy smells :)

Today I found out that I can apply for Short Term Disability when the baby comes, basically in short, I will get double paid (1 for Short Term AND my regular paycheck) for June and part of July.  This is of course, if they accept my claim.  The lady at the district said they should.

You know, I really do have an amazing life surrounded by people that love and care for me and the ones I love.  I consider myself so blessed to be surrounded by so many good things.  And for that, I thank the Lord everyday for how much he has blessed me.
