Sad to See Spring Break go

I go back to work today. What started out as a crazy Spring Break turned into a good Spring Break. It's not the best I've had, but I made the most of it. While it started out rough with the things mentioned in the earlier blog, it got better. I started to look at these things in a new light.

1-I got to spend time with my mom while putting my garden together. I can't wait when all the flowers from the Cala lily start to grow and my roses grow back bigger and more beautiful.

2-I got to spend time with my favorite little guy. Even though he had his eye infection, I love to spend time with my son. Even at the end he was so willing to let us put his drops in and didn't fight it.

3- While Scott was gimping around with a cane, I still got to spend extra time with him that I normally don't get. I am sorry to see Scott's toenail gone, but I was happy to see Scott.

As my week went on I started to realize that I'm not going to sit around a mope during my Spring Break:

1-I rented a video game for the Wii that I've been thinking about purchasing, but couldn't bring myself to spend $50 for it (The Price is Right). I am glad I just rented it. I had fun playing it, but it definitely wasn't worth $50.

2- I bought Twilight. It definitely is no where near as good as the book and it's not the best movie that I've seen, but I like it and it is based off of one of my favorite books ever--so I had to buy it. This may not seem logical to some people, but it's just who I am. (This goes the same for the Harry Potter books/movies).

3-It was a beautiful week and plenty of time was spent outside enjoying the spring weather...ahhhh.

4-I lost a pound--only 20 more pounds to go.

And to leave you with this:

Trevor loves yogurt and refuses to let us feed him: this is the result

This is a closet door that we took the handle off because Trevor was opening it. I guess he thought if he put some keys in there, it would magically open.

We put up a shelf in Trevor's room and Trevor watched Daddy use the stud finder. Trevor has been searching on the walls ever since.
