Trevor used the potty!

We bought one of those toddler potties for Trevor. We decided if we are going to start trying within the next year, we want Trevor, for the most part, potty-trained by the time the next one rolls along. We don't try try very hard on getting him to use it. When the door to the bathroom is open, he will sit on it (but he has his clothes on). But when it's bath time, we always have him sit on it while he's naked. We've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and tonight was the night. He went pee in the potty! We are so proud of our little guy. Now only if potty training was as easy as that! I know there is a long and tiring road ahead of us, but hey, it's a start.

Also, Trevor has learned "shhh." He'll put his pointer finger to his mouth and go "shhhh." And then he puts his finger to our mouths and goes "shhhh."

Remember the counting story? Yeah, the babysitter noticed him counting the other day and says he does it quite a bit. Wow, what a little boy!
