You could also order online starting at 11:00 pm. I stayed up, but boy was that a mistake. It was so busy on their site that it took forever and I even got booted. I eventually gave up and went to bed.
I woke up when Scott got up at 6:30 to get ready for work and went to the Kohl's website and ordered what I wanted without that crazy waiting for the page to load. It was nice. Plus, I didn't have to deal with the crowds at the store. Trevor woke up about an hour later. I got him, ready gave him some waffles (his current favorite breakfast) and loaded him in the car to head over to K-mart to buy this a Mickey Mouse Raceway. I spent more time waiting in line than finding the toy. But it wasn't too bad, they were pretty efficient.

Then Roberts was having an amazing sale on Cricut cartridge, so of course, there I go. They were 4/$100 or $29.99 each. I didn't want to spend the $100 and it was still worth it to get one for the $29.99 (This is to me from Santa :))
I wanted Trevor to see Santa so we headed to the mall where I bought some wrapping paper at Hallmark (buy one a $4.99 and get one for $.99!) I couldn't pass that up. Plus Hallmark always good quality and cute paper too! Unfortunately, Santa wasn't going to be there for another 1/2 hour and I didn't want to just hang out. There will be plenty of time to see Santa.
Overall it was a great shopping experience. I am glad I didn't get up at the crack of dawn and try to do that with a 2 year old. I'm ecstatic that I was still able to get what I wanted and not have to sacrifice my sleep or my toddler's sleep. A very successful day if you ask me. Although I am still missing something that I would like: a red "Santa" bag. If you know of anywhere that has them, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'm trying to start a new tradition and in order to make it work, I need that bag!
